How quickly can you start?+
Usually within 2–3 weeks. Urgent projects, sometimes sooner — ask.
Fixed price or hourly?+
Both. Websites and MVPs are fixed-price. Web apps and CTO work are typically retainer or milestone-based.
Who owns the code?+
You do. Full IP transfer on completion. We don't hold code hostage.
Payment structure?+
50% upfront, 50% on delivery for projects under €10k. Larger projects split into milestones. Retainers billed monthly.
Support after launch?+
Every project includes 30 days. Ongoing retainers €500–2000/month.
Where are you based?+
Amsterdam, NL. We work with clients across Europe.
Do you sign NDAs?+
Yes. Send yours before our first call.
Do you work fully remote?+
Yes — almost all of it. We're set up for async-friendly engineering with weekly syncs over video. Happy to come on-site in NL when something genuinely benefits from being in the room.
Can you take over a project someone else built?+
Often, yes. The first step is a paid audit (typically 1 week, €2–4k) where we read the code, document what's there, and write a recovery plan with options and trade-offs. If we end up building, the audit fee rolls into the project.
How involved do I need to be?+
Light but not absent. One 30–60 minute weekly call, occasional async decisions in Slack or email, and a staging review every couple of weeks. Founders who delegate completely tend to get the wrong product; founders who micromanage tend to slow it down. Somewhere in between works best.
Do you work with non-technical founders?+
Yes, and it's often where we do our best work. The job includes translating technical trade-offs into business terms so you can make the calls that need making.
What happens if the project slips?+
Honest update first. For fixed-price work we eat reasonable scope creep — that's the price of a quoted number. For time-and-materials work we flag estimates early. We've never quietly missed a deadline, and we'd rather have an awkward conversation than a surprise.
